Summary
WhatIsBrainFog.com uses PostHog to understand public-page navigation, clicks, browser errors, and masked session replays. We set PostHog to use session storage and no cookies. It creates no person profiles, shows public page content in replays, masks input values and personal tool results, and stays off private pages such as My Fog, Buddy, account, review, and admin. We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for site traffic measurement. We disable GA4 advertising storage, advertising data, personalization, remarketing, and Google Signals. GA4 may set a first-party analytics cookie. We do not use advertising cookies, Facebook Pixel, or third-party marketing trackers.

Analytics Cookies
PostHog measures navigation and clicks on public pages, captures browser errors, and records masked replays that show us where visitors get stuck and what breaks. PostHog shows public page content and scroll positions in replays, while masking input values and personal tool results before replay data leaves the browser. Query strings and URL fragments are removed. PostHog stays off private pages and uses session storage, with no cookies.
GA4 measures visits, traffic sources, and device types. Its advertising features are disabled. It may set this first-party analytics cookie:

My Fog and saved-page tools may use your browser's Local Storage to keep the page usable between visits. This data:
- Can include saved page state and check-in state
- Stays only on the device and browser you used
- Lets you pick up where you left off without logging in
- Goes away any time you clear your browser's site data
